Merchandise Internship
Interns will be responsible for assisting the marketing and operations department, as well as assist with all front office day-to-day operations. Internships with Buffalo 716ers will provide qualified interns with an assortment of valuable learning experiences and exposure to all facets of a professional basketball team’s front office.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Manage all promo requests forms and compile spreadsheet of promo requests • Fulfill all promo request forms by gathering all materials from merchandise room • Track all promo forms and work with Ops Director/requester to follow proper promo request guidelines • Inventory all new merchandise ordered and received to the office before storing in merchandise room • Create inventory sheet for each item that is stored in the merchandise room • Maintain inventory list of all merchandise • Account for all inventory, including, but not limited to Ball Kid/Player Escort Uniforms • Work with fan services/tickets prior to each game to set-up and manage the player escort locker room and ball kid kits • Track all merchandise items and inform Ops Director/Coordinator when an item is running low
in supply • Create certificates of authenticity for any new autographed inventory item • Manage and coordinate team autograph sessions throughout the season • Keep merchandise room organized and accounted for • Handle all intern materials • Work all Buffalo 716ers home games • Assist and work occasional grassroots and promotional events • Assist with other front office tasks when asked
