Position Description:

Part-time assistant coach for men’s golf available on the Cattaraugus County Campus of Jamestown Community College. This position is responsible for the operation of an NJCAA compliant team.

  • Recruit student athletes to fill a team roster.
  • Monitor academic progress of student athletes.
  • Schedule try-outs and practices.
  • Prepare rosters.
  • Responsible for equipment and uniforms.
  • Submit game reports to media.
  • Responsible for following the budget.
  • Participate in fundraising activities for specific sport and athletic programs.
  • Participate in regular athletic department meetings.

Qualifications:

Required:  Associates degree and demonstrated knowledge of sports skills and coaching ability, excellent organizational skills.

Preferred:  Bachelor’s degree, certification in CPR/First Aid.

Additional Information:

Salary commensurate with qualifications and experience.

Final candidates are subject to a pre-employment criminal background investigation.
