Job Description
Assists the Athletic Commission with the licensing, medicals, and regulatory compliance associated with combatant events at Oneida Nation venues.Assists the Alcoholic Beverage Control Commission in monitoring compliance with Liquor Control Licensing.
Position Responsibilities:

  • Assist the Athletic Commission with licensing combatants, corners, seconds, managers and promoters for combatant sporting events.
  • Assist the Athletic Commission in pre & post fight meetings, weigh-ins and fight night activities.
  • Act as a liaison to the National Association of Boxing Commissioners.
  • Review and update combatant sports regulations for OIN.
  • Provide educational resources and training to Turning Stone personnel

    related to such compliance issues as the prevention of alcohol sales to minors, proper techniques for checking ID’s, recognizing the signs of intoxications and preventing sales to intoxicating patrons.

  • Assists in ensuring that all necessary personnel are knowledgeable about the rules and regulations governing the sale and consumption of alcohol on property.
  • Reviews relevant internal reports from Security, Food & Beverage, Nation Police, Surveillance, and the Gaming Commission to evaluate whether proper policies and procedures were followed.
  • Submit reports and offers suggestions for improving the effectiveness of controls and ensuring alcohol compliance.
  • Monitors all liquor licenses and ensures that all licenses are updated annually.

    Job Requirements

  • Associate’s degree from an accredited institution.
  • A working knowledge of Association of Boxing Commission rules,

    regulations and guidelines is preferred.

  • Experience or knowledge of professional boxing and mixed martial arts

    would be suitable.

  • Experience in a related position requiring knowledge of liquor laws,

    policies and procedures would be beneficial.

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

    Position Physical Requirements:

  • Repetitive motion of the hands, wrists and fingers for the continuous and frequent use of the computer, telephone, copiers, and other office equipment.
  • Ability to occasionally lift up to 10 lbs.
  • Must have the ability to sit for long periods of time. Job Type: Full-time
